Air source heat pumps are a modern low-carbon heating solution that help UK homeowners reduce energy bills and carbon emissions. With the £7,500 BUS Scheme grant, we install efficient systems across the UK — delivering reliable, cost-effective heating with expert installation and full support.
An air source heat pump (ASHP) extracts heat from the outside air — even at temperatures as low as −15°C — and uses it to warm your home and provide hot water. It runs on electricity and is three to four times more efficient than a gas boiler: for every 1 unit of electricity used, it produces 3–4 units of heat.
A fridge removes heat from its interior and releases it into the room — keeping the inside cold.
A heat pump works in reverse — it absorbs heat from outside air and releases it inside your home to provide heating and hot water.
A heat pump with a COP (Coefficient of Performance) of 3.5 produces 3.5 kWh of heat for every 1 kWh of electricity consumed. Gas boilers are typically 85–95% efficient — heat pumps deliver far more output per unit of energy input.
Most homes are suitable for a heat pump. We assess your property during the free survey — and if a heat pump is not right for you, we will tell you honestly and recommend the best alternative.
Not sure if your home qualifies? Our free survey checks everything — insulation, radiators, and space. No obligation.
Book Free SurveyThe Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) provides an upfront grant towards air source heat pump installation — no income limit, open to all homeowners in England and Wales. The grant is deducted from your quote; we claim it directly from Ofgem. You never handle the money.
Costs are based on MCS-certified installer data (June 2026). Actual costs vary by property — your exact price is confirmed during the free survey.

From initial consultation to final handover, we handle surveys, system design, BUS grant application, installation, and commissioning — delivering efficient low-carbon heating with minimal disruption.
We discuss your heating needs, property type, and confirm BUS Scheme eligibility. No charge — no obligation.
We assess your property in detail — insulation levels, existing radiators, available space for the outdoor unit and cylinder, and heating load calculation.
We size and design the system specifically for your home — selecting the right heat pump capacity, cylinder, and any radiator upgrades needed for optimal efficiency.
We provide a fixed quote with the BUS grant already deducted. We then apply for the grant to Ofgem on your behalf — no paperwork for you.
Ofgem typically issues the BUS voucher within 5–10 working days. The voucher is valid for 3 months, giving you time to schedule installation.
Our engineers install the outdoor unit, indoor cylinder, and connect to your heating system. Most installations take 2–5 days. Your home remains occupied throughout.
We commission and test the full system, set optimal flow temperatures, and walk you through the controls so you get the best efficiency from day one.
