Government-Backed Funding
ECO4 and Warm Homes Plan help eligible UK households access government-backed support for insulation, heating improvements, and energy efficiency upgrades. LAMTANS Engineering guides homeowners across the UK through eligibility requirements, available funding options, and suitable retrofit solutions including insulation, solar panels, and heat pump installations.
Three Routes to Funding
LAMTANS Engineering Ltd helps eligible homeowners across the UK access government funding for fully or partly funded insulation, heating upgrades and renewable energy measures. There are currently two active schemes (ECO4 and Warm Homes: Local Grant) and one upcoming scheme (the Warm Homes Plan, from 2026).
| Scheme | Status | What It Covers | Who May Qualify |
|---|---|---|---|
| ECO4 | Open until 31 Dec 2026 | Insulation, heating, solar (some cases) | Benefit recipients, low EPC (D–G) |
| Warm Homes: Local Grant | Open now | Insulation, solar, heat pumps | Income under £36,000 or benefits |
| Warm Homes Plan | Launching 2026 (date TBC) | Insulation, solar, heat pumps, wider measures | Expected broader than ECO4 |
Eligibility is assessed case by case against current scheme rules; funding may be full or partial depending on the measure and your circumstances.
Good news for homeowners: ECO4 was due to end on 31 March 2026 but has been extended to 31 December 2026. This is the last chance to apply under ECO4 before it is replaced by the Warm Homes Plan.
Don't wait — supplier funding is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Check your eligibility today.
